I have bought NX70 since Jan...I used it everyday almost application, especially CLie Camera.

Last 3 days I found message

" Unknown error occurred
in multimedia system,Clie Camera will abort"

I guess 2 possible ways of problem.
1. Software error (most desirable)
2. Camera died.

All aplication still functioning, except Camera.
What should I do? I have tried to do hard reset...but did't work.

If I have to send to Sony...How much camera would cost me?
I'm living in Thailand.

Contact Sony if a hard reset didn't work, the hard reset made you erase all data, right?

Some call pushing the pin in the back only a hard reset and it's not. It has to be done along with pushing the power button.

I agree with n2ifp. I have had this exact problem happen with mine. I had to do a hard rest(not a soft reset) and reinstall all my data and programs. Not a lot of fun, but my Clie has been working faithfully ever since. Seems like I installed some rogue software that caused the problem.

Good luck!

To hard reset, hold down the power button and then press the reset button. The palm logo will appear, release the power button and a dialouge should pop up

"Press up to erase all data, press any tother key to abort"

Sounds like a software problem to me.

That should fix it.

I can no longer take for granted that a user knows the differernces in resets. At the same time one doesn't want to insult one's intelligence.
