is ms adapter necessary?

to use with ms pro duo you need the adapter. and i have been searching high and low for my ms pro duo.
at last i decide to just push the duo into the slot and

walla.....it works :D and to take out i stick the duo to piece of plastic shorter than original ms.

and now my ms slot looks clean and i do not accidently press the ms anymore.

to take it out i use the ms and push it in and the duo just poped out

It's not strictly necessary, but Sony supply it for a good reason ;)

Interessant. Are you using pro Duo without adaptor. When it works , it looks very clean and also sometimes my MS get out himself (may be it has pressed ).

yes pro duo without adapter, i have stick the pro duo with cut out plastic shorter than ms so easy to pull in and out,

FYI - I have just discovered the above is also possible with the card reader in my home PC. Which saves me trying to find my MS adapter all the time :D

Yeah but the adapter makes it protrude a bit more then it would with a regular ms pro.
