wi-fi problems

just bought a clie nx73 (awsome) and a wl110 card and I can't get the internet work.
I've tried with "any" as ssid and I trided with the ssid of my network and it didn't work. keep getting error timeout
I've left wep blank (none) as this is unprotected network and anyone can connect to it using a laptop without any configuration (just search for network - choose this one - connect - and you're in)
can anyone help?

WL110 won't work on 'G', only 'B'. Check that your router is either a 'B' router or one that is set to a mixed (B & G) mode. On my NX-80, I set the SSID to match my router, entered the WEP Key, using Infrastructure connect mode with IP address, DNS address and PowerSaveMode all checked.

just tried it in sturbucks and it did connect with no problems but still can't get netfront to work (displays wrong settings or something like that)

(at home I have used p990i before and it did connect so the router must be alright for "b" I don't understand why it doesen't work with wl110.
