Whenever I use any program which consistantly runs for around 6 to 8 seconds, such as a car racing game, or even a music metronome, my S360 will "freeze" for a "split-second", and then continue running the application.

It always does this split-second freeze up. It is not an occasional issue.

I first noticed it when I was playing GTS Racing. When I am driving the car, the S360 will freeze-up for a split-second around every 6 seconds.

It is most obvious when I run a musicians metronome program in S360.

The metronome is supposed to keep perfect time for musicians, by clicking or beeping at a constant rate. My S360 pauses after around every 6 seconds, and continues, which throws the timing off.

Does anyone else have a problem like this in their S360 or on any other PDA ???

Scratch my last post !!

My new S360 developed the exactly same problem as my old S360 after I loaded with software.... but this time I determined the cause of the problem !!!

It is the driver program for the Targus Thumbpad !!!

The driver program apparently runs in the background while other applications are running, and every 6 - 8 seconds, it rears it's ugly head, and interrupts the running application for a split second, and goes back to sleep for another 6 - 8 seconds.

So when I play a game like Pinballz, the game will play fine for 6 seconds, then freeze for a second, then play fine for another 6 seconds, then freeze again ... over and over.

Once I deleted the Targus Thumbpad driver ... my PDA worked fine!!!

No more pauses... No more interrupts... Just PURE FUN !!!!

Not sure if you're kidding ??? :)

But I fixed my problem as I mentioned above.

My Targus Thumbpad driver was the culprit.... so it's OUTTA HERE.

Ohhhhh yeeeeaahhhhh !!!!
