I changed from NR to NX, and I don't see much difference in battery life from them. However, when you use Wi-Fi card in NX the bettery drain is pretty fast....

You lose about 1-3 hours switching from the NR to the NX. I would say I used to get 10 hours max on my NR with normal usage, now I get about 6 on my NX, maybe more I haven't really timed it.

It seems about the same to me without using the Wi Fi.

I agree, there was no real detectable difference between the two if you compare apples to apples.

Well I haven't had an NR, but I can give a fairly common battery life for the NX in a power use day for me.
I use the MP3 player with hold on for about an hour and a half total
Edit some reports for about 2 hours total
View and edit appointments constantly through the day
Use power 48 for about 2 hours total in the day
Play pyramid for about 30 mins total
Show off my stick fighter movie for people at work a couple of times
Backlight is at 40% for all these
Everything is run off the MS or CF
When I get home at 5:00 my battery usually sits at about 55% to 60%

For average use I have gone 6 days without having to recharge. (battery was at 23%)
