Movie playback & Headphone remote

Has anyone else had this problem.

All my movie files play fine from CF card but if I play a movie file and listen to it from the headphones with remote connected (If you use only headphones it is fine) and I play it in widescreen (Sideways) the movie slows up and I am unable to stop the movie without doing a soft reset, also if you unplug headphones and remote all sound is lost.

Very interesting, I am sure there is some technical explaination for it. I think the remote control works on some kind of serial interface, so the polling may slow things down. This only a guess though and nothing to back it up with. What does add validity is the headphones alone seem to have no effect.

I encountered a similar problem as well, once the movie is played in wide screen mode, all the control freezes, and a soft reset is required.... the difference is the headphones and remote are not connected though.
