View Full Version : Mac/Palm Users
Is it me, or do a high number of Palm users have Macs?

At least from the people I see over at Brighthand, that have created user accounts there, Mac users are very rare. I'm basing this on the number of browser ID's I've viewed while watching the who's online list, during prime work time, and prime home time posting hours. I'm lucky to see maybe 1, at most 2 people logged in from a Mac. I get the same numbers for Linux users.

Sounds like a poll is needed ;)

Linux is my main OS. But we have a Mac OSX laptop too. No Windoze in my house :-P There's my vote.
Mac user here. Speaking for myself, I go for simplicity and stuff that work: that'll be PalmOS and OS X.
I have a PC and Wii for games but for everything else, it's my MacBook Pro and Treo.

I've got XP Pro, Win 2k, Win 98SE, and KUbuntu Linux. My 98 machine is getting a face lift to 2K, and my Ubuntu machine needs to be reinstalled, as I really screwed up my KDE interface, and I'm not skilled enough to fix it.

tried pocketlookx720 in 2004 but i stick to th55 at that time.
I use my PC for a lot of my forum posting, but my TX syncs with my mac.

I use Mac OS on my MacBook, but a CLIE. It still runs Palm OS though ;)

Mac OS X on MacBook with Palm OS 5 on Clie TH55 here :)
Using these 2, I can focus on what I want to do at the moment, instead of doing endless update-reboot cycles, unintuitive UIs, digging through start menus, coping with worms & bugs... and all the stuff. I am getting my job done, not encountering new problems. That's what keeps me away from M$.
One down side, though:
Still thinks the missing sync is too expensive, and my trial expired, so I don't sync anymore...
