i was just wondering if the lan card still works with the new cf drivers? :confused:

I concur with Rich, you can leave the CF driver in automount and it knows the difference in the cards.

Yes - if you don't get the settings set BEFORE you insert the card, you can get the program to hang.

As n2ifp points out, put the CF driver into automount mode BEFORE you insert the WL100 LAN card.

Or just warm reboot and the CF driver will get out of the way.
[I find you have to reboot often with the LAN card for other reasons...]

Not trying to bust horns, but why do you have to reboot often :confused:?

I should clarify - that's when writing new code that accesses the LAN. Using the existing features is usually fine

The CLIE WiFi drivers have some problems. I haven't gotten around to installing the update, so hopefully some of the bugs are fixed.

quick question if you wouldn't mind where do you get the cf ethernet card to work with clie nx70v. i have been looking for hours and i am getting really sleepy :D. i saw one on amibcom but don't know if it is compatible with our device

There is no CF Ethernet card that works with the NX70 that I know of. There is the wireless WL100 card that works via wireless to a 802.11b WLAN.
