interesting problem with movie player ...

ok, i ripped my friends collection from DVD a while ago into mpeg, den into sony's mqv mode.

I store them on CD-R's and i just move a few episodes now n den onto MS to watch on the train.

I tried the same with the CF however ...only half or so actually play in movie player, which is strange cos when i run the movie in a CF reader it works fine.

If i convert from mpeg directly on the CF card it seems to solve the problem, but i was just curious as to what may be causing this ??

I have a strange problem like this.

I copied my Movie files direct from Memory stick to CF Card (CF Card in PC CF Card Reader), all files played fine.

Anyway due to a problem I had to format CF Card and start again, this time I copied the same movie files from my PC to the CF card and now only half or less would play, so I removed them, copied from PC to M.Stick and them copied from M.Stick to CF Card and now all movie files play fine.

Strange.
