I just downloaded from Palmgear a program iSURF 1.3. It states that it is a web browser with a very small footprint. It states that it is not spyware. Because I have bought hundreds of dollars of products from Palmgear I tend to trust that they will "screen" programs that are duplicitous and of dubious utility. This programs installed on my computer various conduits to adult sites and gambling sites and placed in my favorites and desktop and who knows where else icons, portals, etc. that I had not requested. When I tried to use the program on the clie it was inoperable. When I posted a negative review of this on the Palmgear site it was not attached to the program(at least at this time). Are they screening my review and not the actual program? This program is "freeware". I will not be buying from Palmgear again. I expect that programs will be evaluated to protect the consumer before being offered for download. I also expect that my comments will not be censored.

I in no way shape or form think that Palmgear screens the software much at all. If they did I see no reason it would not be quite visible to the customer on the site with much visibility.

I received an e-mail from Palmgears Kenny West stating that the program had been withdrawn from download. He stated that they reviewed programs but missed with this on. A few minutes later I went on the Palmgear site and the program was back and able to be downloaded. When I looked for my review of it there was no review attached. Very mixed messages. Again I report that the program was not operable, had not documentation to how to configure its functioning, place adult and gambling icons and portals without my permission in various places in my computer and was very difficult to uninstall.

I downloaded it & it works fine on my I300. I'm always leary of PC apps, so I didn't run the executable & install the PC part of it. The PQA part of it is very similar to another surf PQA that came out a few days earlier called SedaKa. SedaKa also had a PC counterpart which I didn't install.
