It's been two days since I purchased the Eruware CF driver and submitted my user ID and product code. But so far, the registration code is still nowhere in sight. The chaser I sent to Eruware didn't help. Do you guys have similar (bad) experience?

No I got mine in about 2 hours after requesting it.

Just hang in there or send them another email. I recieved mine but it did not work, Amir and his partners work hard to respond to folks but they must be pretty busy. I'm waiting now for Amir or anyone to send another code for me to try out.
It really stinks tho that I had the right code before and with this new version I have to get ANOTHER and wait in order to use my cf card. I'm not a doctor so I don't have to much patience (joke).
Thanks.

Thanks for shedding some light on this. I've sent a second mail and from the response, it seems that they are finally sensing my impatience. I thought that the code is automatically generated and sent...

They are a small start-up company. Probably didn't have all the kinks of their business plan worked out before putting something on the market. Techies sometimes forget that many times the really demanding work comes after product development.

Finally got it. The guys are helpful but I guess they are extremely busy with the cashier.

There is a lot more going on behind the scenes than you may realize. Become a doctor and have lots of patience :D!

Are people picking on me again :)?
Net What? LOL, it rates right up there with the Dixie Chicks :)!
No, I am not an official spokesperson. I just got intensely involved from the very beginning. It gives one a different perspective on the other side of the coin. I also figure if I can lend a helping hand, EruWare can concentrate more in taking care of the other stuff for my fellow users!
I don't want to see any of my fellow clie users as unhappy campers :)!

Hi,
I just went thru ordering the driver about 1 hour ago and paid with my Paypal. Am I supposed to just wait for the driver and the reg code or am I supposed to email Eruware too?
Thanks.

Just sit tight and you will receive an email with your reg code in it.

From what I'm reading here, the reg code is based on my Hotsync ID, right? When I ordered on their web site, I wasn't asked about my hotsync ID?
Thanks again.
-Mike-
Just wondering if you clicked on the link in one of the emails that they sent you.... It will bring you to their site and you will have to submit your hotsync ID. I was also waiting and waiting and then realised that I haven't clicked that link.
After submitting, the reg code came in 3 hours!

I emailed Eruware and they responded. It was because Paypal took my money, put it in Eruware's paypal account and never notified them so they didn't know until I emailed them. I just received the driver, emailed them the IDs and waiting for the reg code.
Thanks.

Yesterday I logged into the Eru site, completed the ordering and checkout form, and paid the 27.00 fee via credit card using their paypal requirement. Now after 24 hours I don't have any idea how I am supposed to actually get the software. I have scoured the site and can find no reference to how the software will be delivered.
I have been e-mailed a paypal receipt and thats it.
I have sent an e-mail to their sales address and received no response.
From the posts discussing the driver and performance I can only assume that I have missed somthing. This is a new marketing approach that I have never seen before 'keep the customer guessing'
Can anyone help?

calm down there, cowboy.
Maybe you mis-input your e-mail address. There's an automated system that automatically e-mails the address you input telling you that payment was received. The drivers come immediately, then the confimation comes 48 hours later (usually about an hour).
(I wouldn't know why they would single you out for abuse... was it something you did that you're not telling us.... HMMMM?!?!?!?)
Just hang in there, & be patient, fbclie, I can understand how frustrating it is waiting for the driver (I paid through PayPal but via eCheck so that took 4 extra days for the bank to clear the cash over).
Did you check in your PayPal account with the statis, cleared or unclear?
After having Eruware cleared[/] with PayPal, then you should recieve your file by email which you provided them with.
[b]note:other members have reported cases where the file was actually inside their "junk Mail" because the sender's name is "Nolan Capehart" so you might want to double check that.
I got my file this morning from sender "sales@eruware.com"
Then got my registration key from "regcodes@eruware.com" (approx 20mins later)
But do bare in mind that most software companies are from Mon-Fri. & Eruware is opened during the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. Central Time Zone.
Hope to hear your good news

Weird. My entire purchase took no longer than 20 minutes from checkout to drivers in my inbox. Could possibly be time of day you ordered. I did mine during regular business hours and literally had the driver within 20 minutes. The only thing I could see is you entered your email addy wrong. Be patient you should see something shortly.
Cheers,

Why did you post in this forum and not in the Compact Flash forum?
If you have a problem, contact them at support at eruware.com
The registration codes come usually in an email from Nolan Capehart.

You are kidding right? Eddy? They work what hours? Are they nuts? I really think they need less customer relations and MORE greed. I can't believe any company would put out a driver that is the only game in town, not charge an outrageous price, not put out free upgrades for LIFE, as well as free maintenance, and still have to put up with the garbage that people have thrown at them FROM DAY 1 and they don't work what I consider to be humanly hours. Are these guys for real????

Hey, fbclie: did you get it yet?

This is my case:
22/april morning purchase driver through PayPal
22/april night receive receipt of PayPal
22/april night receive driver file & receipt from EruWare
23/april morning submit EruWare ID & Hotsync ID
26/april night receive 1st Reg code from Mr. Nolan
26/april night Reg code fail, resent all ID info. to EruWare support
Now I am waiting for my 2nd Reg code. The problem in my case is mail server problem. I can't receive the reg code which sent by EruWare official address. I receive my 1st code from another address of Mr. Nolan. Whole progress take already 4 days pass. From the start, I am really angry about the delivery delay, but now I know it was caused by some mistake, just hope the issue can be resolved, and receive my workable Reg code ASAP.

How about that?
That's way I tried to help as much as I could, considering all the abuse, they have done remarkably well!

Stuff Happens!
I am sure their intention is not to aggravate you, it would serve them no purpose. Many factors required the procedure due to potential piracy. I am sure they would appreciate your understanding. Be firm, be nice, and stick to the facts. Please remember all codes are case sensitive, even though you may know that, some didn't.
Things are getting better:
Ordered: 4/26 3:50pm
Confirmed: 4/26 3:52
Received: 4/26 4:00
ID Info Sent: 4/26 5:10
Registration: 4/26 7:21
Mike - when you get the driver you need to load it and then email them with the two IDs. Then they send you your registration. It took just a little over 2 hours for me to get the registration yesterday.

I haven't sent for the driver yet....I have read there have been problems with getting it though. There have also been a lot of answers posted to try to solve these problems. Some reg codes have been lost by spam filters, others have accidentally been deleted. The people at Eruware are a small company and are trying to help but you have to consider, whatever can go wrong will. Try to be patient. I am sure they will get it worked out as soon as they can. They seem to be working late hours, and weekends to resolve all the problems encountered. That is more than I expect from most companies. I also think a lot of the problems encountered aren't with Eruware (the company) but with internet email addresses, pay methods and just misunderstandings in general. I guess what I am trying to say (I am considering buying this driver myself but still weighing pros and cons)is be patient and if they can't resolve the problem in a reasonable fashion then be upset with them. We are all behind you on this and hope for the best outcome too.
