the weirdest thing just happened to my Clie (NX70), I hadn't done anything out of the ordinary on it all day
and just sat down to read an e-book with an app from MS (using powerrun)
anyway it came up with a message about not recognizing multiple volumes, even though it had always
worked before, I checked powerrun and it seemed that it was seeing the CF card as the first (and only)
volume. I tried everything, unmount, remount, MS out and in over and over but i couldn't get it going.
so i played in my backup from this morning and now everything is back to normal
strange ?

What version of PowerRun are you using?

Powerrun 1.2
but before you say it.....
it was working ok... running progs merrily off the MS (as it should)
until the point where "something" happened then it started recognizing the CF as the first available device and would no longer run from MS (until i restored from backup)

Okay, the reason is PowerRun v1.2 is NOT multi-card aware and it got confuzzled. There is PowerRun v1.3b on their site that now makes it more multi-card aware. The beta expires 05/15/03 and will not register for registered users, but it's usable.

A bunch of us wrote the developer and coaxed him into adding Multi-VFS support.

I couldn't find any info on his website about the changes to v1.3b1. Do any of you know if it's more than just multi-card aware?

As long as your aware of the beta version. There must be a db or preference file where the info is stored.
