Anyone come across some good journal or memo freeware for the Palm?

I have found Natara's DayNotez, but was looking for something cheaper or free. Suggestions?

It depends what you need. If all you need are just memos, then the built-in memos app will do. I personally needed create/edit dates on my memos, so I made ChronMemo (palmgear), which is free.

Natara Software's Super Bowl Discounts
As some of you may be aware, Natara Software (makers of Bonsai, DayNotez, Comet, etc.) is located just outside of Chicago, home of the NFC champion Chicago Bears football teem. This Sunday the Bears play against the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLI. The last time the Bears went to the Super Bowl it was Super Bowl XX. We thought we would have a little fun with this. From now until the end of the game, Natara is offering XX% (20%) off any orders placed through its online store. If (or should I say "when") the Bears win Super Bowl XLI, at the end of the game we will change the discount amount to XLI% (41%) and extend it until the end of the day Tuesday.

Of course, the discount code is "GoBears".

PS: The 20% discount is only valid until the end of the game.

Hi Alex,

do you think there you will have time in the future to append ChronMemo with a calendar tool, kinda like if you wanted to see your memos and where they would be on a calendar, and if it was possible to search for keywords?

If the Bears win the game the discount increases to 41% and is extended until the end of Tuesday...in celebration of the Bears winning the Bowl. (Go Bears!)

However, if they don't win the discount will stand at 20%... but you'll have to purchase it by the end of the game to take advantage of the sale. As by then the developer will be too sad that his home team lost to continue on with the discount. :)

Edit: Ahhh, I think I misinterpreted your question. It changes to 41% because it's SuperBowl "41," in honor of the Bears winning Bowl 41 and 20% b/c SuperBowl XX (twenty) was the last championship the Bears won. Sorry for the confusion.

I didn't want to push you to DayNotez. I like it a lot, but this thread had basically the same question and a series of answers which might help you choose. But with DayNotez on a superbowl discount, I would go for it :D
