I have the CF driver installed and registered on my NZ90. When I have the card inserted, Cardinfo recognizes it and displays the correct size. It also sees the MS correctly. There are a couple of odd things, however. Cardinfo shows three selections in the drop-down. One is the MS. The next claims to be a CF card, but with no information. The third displays the CF card correctly.
Cliefiles can access the MS, but anytime I try to access the CF, a message appears saying "An error has occurred".
Has anyone seen this? Any suggestions or solutions?
NZ90
MSPro patch installed. (Behaved the same way without patch.)

Did you format the card to FAT?

I can't duplicate it, no errors here. I tested using the following size cards, 4, 10, 30, 64, and 256mb. No errors, all were formatted using FAT with Win XP. The SanDisk 256mb is still factory formatted, untouched, except for the addition of 80mb of MP3's.

I'm getting the same sort of thing with a SanDisk 32mb card on my NX70/V.CardInfo & Mcfile (latest version) also sees three cards (MS, Nothing & CF Card), but filez & clie files sees just the 2 cards.
I also get another error when there is a file (eg jpg or doc) in the root of the CF card. McFile throws up a "Generic file error .:/", clie files give an error and Filez locks up & needs a soft reset.
Maybe the SanDisk 32mb is the problem here??

Add me to the list. I get the same thing here. I'm thinking I have to get a cf reader for the pc then format to FAT as everyone else has done. Anyone with some insight please help us.

I don't have the errors, but I do have the 3 cards being shown in the given programs. There are many lockups when either mounting, using the movie app and throughout the processes of using this driver so far.
BTW - I'm using a 256 SanDisk

Question, are the ones having the errors all using small cards? I have used 30 and 64mb SanDisks with no problem. My Lexar 80mb needs slow mount and my 256mb SanDisk works fine.
BTW, yes some apps may show 3 cards, the reason from what Amir had said was the app looks for a second MS before the CF. It does not hurt anything, so just ignore it. It does that in ZL's info pull down menu too and ZZtech pretty much confirmed Amir's findings when they added multiVFS support.

Have you tried to use either Slow Mode or Slow Mount?

I finally re-formatted the card using an external reader. That seems to have resolved the issue, although I still can't do such things as playing MP3s from the CF. I can read DOC files from it, however, and there appear to be no difficulties with seeing both cards at once.

Did you check the MS Masquerading box in the CF Utility?
Without that checked you will not be able to use the Audio Player to play your MP3s from the CF.
Also, the MP3s have to be CBR (Constant Bit Rate) not VBR (Variable Bit Rate).

you need the MSPro patch to play audio off the CF card

I have the patch installed, and created an MSAUDIO folder on the CF. Now MP3s play, but they stutter some on playback.

No, only if your in theTrick Mode, then you may need it to play the files properly. Most need it though :).
