I was using the Tasks program that came with my Palm T|X, but it was somewhat limited in the number of categories. I could only set a limited number of Categories: Personal, Business, To Do, To Buy, etc...

But what if I wanted to have even more categories: e.g.
To Do for:

Mom
Sister
John Doe
Jane Smith
Shopping for Christmas
Shopping for Birthday
Business
Business 2
School
Lectures
Courses
Chemistry Course
Biology Course
English Course...etc...

do you have a program to suggest, probably cheaper than ListPro

It would be great if I could have the option of creating 50-100 categories, that I can rename, say for people (things to do for people), or courses (Chem, Bio, Math,) and other things. ListPro is great, but I would prefer something cheaper, or freeware if available.

I use ''Handy Shopper''-it's free. Even though originally design for making grocery lists, I use it to make all kinds of lists... Everything from, projects around the house to movies I want to see. There's also the ability to import/export lists.

I like SplashShopper. It's not free but comes with a desktop that's very handy.

Another vote for HandyShopper. I use it for all types of lists even as my 'Expense Manager'. You can also keep lists on your Exp card shown or hidden so you could hide the Christmas gifts list till needed.

All the best woz of of

Well, HandyShopper is still limited to 16 categories by the PalmOS. However, what many of we HS2 users do to get around this is to use the "Stores" as categories. You can have an unlimited number of "Stores". Visit the Yahoo Group HS forum and you will see many ideas about doing many different things with HS. However, I use Life Balance for most of my tasks.
