I found an external USB rechargeable battery for cameras / MP3 players etc.. and from the specs it looks like it would give a UX a real boost. Here is the link : -

It says that it is 3400 mah with 5v output. I think the voltage is the same as my EB50 output so I don't think it would blow the charging circuit in a UX.
