Hmmm...I just started running into a very strange thing with IC 1.5

When the converter is converting a video, it suddenly stops at about 35-45% of the way. It then says it can not convert this file. It happens with .wmvs, .avi's or .mpg's. pretty much most of the video files that I have.

I'll note that IC 1.5 was put into a relatively new computer. First time using it too (1.5 that is). As far as codecs, I have pretty much installed only Xvid codecs. Not really an extensive range of codecs. However, all the video files I have (with the exception of. MOV's) play fine with Windows Media Player.

It MIGHT be the quicktime version could be above 6 but I doubt it. Never updated any apple software on this computer.

What might be some other possible reasonings why this happens. Do i need more codecs? does it cut off when system resources are low? (I use a file sharing program usually at the same time). Thanks for any findings.

I haven't seen that problem, but I have a previously reported problem. I made the mistake of installing quicktime 7 and now my image converter 1.5 no longer works for my nx70. There was a thread where it was reported that version 1.503 fixes this problem but all the links to the zip file with the fix seem to be dead. Does anyone know where I could get this?

I emailed the web site about the file, I hope it will clear up sometime today. I couldn't find this update anywhere else, if you find it please let me know too!

dsp....you should try to UNinstall quicktime 7 and then install quicktime 6 instead. Unless you really love quicktime 7 that is. For me...most of my video files that I watch on my computer I use the VLC player..

for quicktime 6 try this link.. http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=quicktime
