I have rec'd a gift of a used NX60. It works perfectly well, but the battery seems to be a bit short-lived. I devised a simple test of the useful charge-life.
I charged the unit overnight
Auto-off was set on 3-minutes
I set the unit on a file (Battery Test)
I put the unit on the desk and let it run on a full screen
I set to work on other projects
When the screen went off after the 3-minute cycle, I hit
the ON-OFF switch and came back to the "Battery Test" file.
I typed an "x" and let it run for another 3 minutes
When the "Low Battery...Recharge" message came on, the test was over
I found 27-28 cycles -- 80-95 minutes of constant ON time.
Is this reasonable, or do I really need to look toward getting a new battery??
I plan to do this test at least two more times to see if I can improve the battery performance by deep cylcing.
Any thoughts??
Thanks,
