I still have the stickers on my 1 1/2 year old N610C. I still have stickers on several of my audio components.

They don't bother me, and removing them can be messy.

I take all the stickers off, and stick them on the inside of the box lid . . . no particular reason why, it's just what I do. I keep all the manuals & wrappers and twist ties in the box too . . .

. . . does that make me a bad person? :D

The stickers on the CLIEs don't leave any crap on. Although you cant faintly see an outline on the NX's screen side with the clie logo, ive never had any problems on other clies

I always remove all visible stickers (for example, I remove all sticker that can be seen when my laptop is closed, but not the ones that can be seen when I open it). Since it can be messy, I use a product named GooGone to remove the sticky glue residue the sticker leaves...

I take them off and stick them on the back of the user manual.

I've kept the stickers on my T665 since I bought it 8 months ago... gives it some color inside the aluminium innopocket case

Would leaving the window sticker on my truck count ;-)? Kidding. Actually, I don't leave the stickers but like MikeD mentioned I keep all of the original packaging. In fact most of my closet and under my bed is filled with the boxes of electronics devices and the packaging for most of my collectible Transformer items

i left my green multimedia sticker (Clie NX70) on, and now regret it.
it started peeling off on its own, looking scrappy. so i removed it and now i have a rectangle of slightly lighter shade than the rest

I keep all the stickers on my NX. Makes it look brand new. When I get my first scratch on the actual device I remove the stickers.

A box adds value to PDA when you sell it.

It will probably leave a small bit of goo so get some Goo Gone. I used it on my T665 stickers and it worked like a charm.

My SJ20 still has the stickers on it... I don't plan on taking them off since they make the Clié look more "interesting." I also have an HP digital camera which I've had for a few years now, still with the sticker. So far, the only sticker that I've taken off from any electronic device that I can remember is my Sony MD Player/Recorder. Unfortunately, since I didn't take it off when I first got it, so you can see a faint outline from where it used to be.

Stickers? What stickers?? Oh those, after awhile you don't even notice them, unless they get dirty looking.

I used to leave them on, but I noticed that when you eventually peel them off after a long while, the colors don't match between where the stickers were and where they weren't...

got dirty hands, I guess.... :D

I recommend not Gooing on your T665 in the first place. Do you have those Strip Poker games on it? Hmmm?

I remove all stickers and keep all boxes.
Simple and safe. I don't like people knowing the specs of what i got. Makes em oooo a lot more.

Yea, its my '99 Lude Type SH :D

Its not lowered, I need to get some springs and shocks, lower it bout an in or so for it to handle even better. I love my car, and it sounds aggressive when VTEC engages :D

Actually people leaving stickers on electronics is one of my pet peeves... Aside from the fact that they will eventually get crappy looking and hard to remove, it just looks dumb to have some sticker that was intended to be seen in a store on something you carry around with you.

I am sooo thankful for this thread!!!

I never kept the stickers on, on any of the electronic devices I owned, though I always really wanted to... I used to think my obsession with the stickers was a freaky unique personal thing. I feel MUCH better now :))

I still won't keep the stickers on in the future, but I now know I am not alone in feeling pain when peeling a sticker!!

stickers, huh?

well, let's see;

i kept the one on my nr which did not give me more money once i sold it

my current nx does not have a sticker on it. there was just a little thinggy where some people have the string (a whole different thread ;-) so no sticker tearing there.

my 717 does still have two stickers. saying "stamina, zoom ring and high speed usb", high speed usb, hah, with an old mem stick in it. and there is one "class 1 laser" sticker. hmm, maybe i keep it, might help to have some people not wanting to get a hold.

the last thing i got today: brand new p82 18" tft from sony as well. hell i pay this company a lot of money i suppose. well, had a tco99 sticker which i took away first thing. i cannot stand a beautiful grey-metal frame with a red sticker on it saying tco99-compliant. heck this is a brandnew display. by the way: i can only recommend the tft. much better picture then my old 19" crt from eye-q. contrast and brightness are unbelievable. i might need to get right of my second display (sony a220 17" crt) and get me another one as soon as i win some lottery jackpot.

hmm, could it be that i did not focus that much on the thread's topic, though ;-) sorry, won't do it againg

It depends how many stickers are on my unit. If there's too many stickers with big, honking huge letters then I take them off.... since they can be VERY distracting.

i keep the stickers on my sj30 .. they somehow fit perfectly onto the clie :o)
but the stickers that were on my old laptop i peeled out and put it on my casio calulator so now i have pII intel inside casio calculator :o)
and i'm seriosly thinking of putting the p4 and windows XP stickers from my new laptop on my clie .. many people will be really surprised .. and then i show them indiana jones 4 on scummVM :o) that will be a bummer
anyway my colleague ordered new clie after he saw may sj30 compared to his m130 :o)

The only sticker I left on my NR70V is the one that "protects" the application/scroll buttons above the keyboard. At first, I was going to remove it, but I'm glad I didn't, as that area is now all scuffed (well, at least the sticker is).

I did leave the stickers on my N760C but after roughly 4 months they started looking like junk. Thus the NZ90 was stripped of all stickers. I keep them on an old decal backing so if I ever have to return the unit I can stick them back on :P

I finally decided to remove the sticker on my TG! I'm a bit worried at first...worry that it might leave the glue mark on the case....but it's not! pheww...

I think stickers make it look cheap. I got rid of ALL stickers, and put them in my manual, as many others. I think it looks more elegant this way.
