I was a happy user of RPN PopUp Calculator 1.0.1 (from Benc Software Production) on the M515. I moved it to my new TX and find that it's crippled now despite the fact that I have been able to register it on the TX using the old registration number. (As you may know, the author of RPNPopCalc recently passed away, so I have been unable to confer with him or even reach his apparently defunct web site.)
The problem is that while RPNPopCalc will pop up and perform all built-in calculations, it won't pull user written programs from my memo files where they are stored. I have them stored there one to a memo with the appropriate characters in their titles to make them accessible—and they were all available and worked fine on my m515.)
So, my first question is: Is anyone able to use RPNPopCalc with user defined programs on a TX or other OS5 machine? If so, I'd dearly love to know how you managed to get it working.
My second question is: Does anyone know of any other RPN popup calculators available for the TX?
My third question is: Has anyone got wisdom/experience/tips to share with regard to learning how to program the non-popup calculator written by Russell Webb called "RPN"? Although I have learned several programming languages (C, Pascal, Basic, Fortran, etc.) and used them in the past, and also used HP programmable calculators, I find the tutorials and documentation for RPN quite hard to get started with. So any advice or suggestions would be most helpful.
Many thanks for any help you can give me with any of these matters.
