I just learned from Brightand (http://www.brighthand.com/article/GSM_GPRS_Phone_in_an_SD_Card_Coming) that a GSM/GPRS SD module by Siemens is on the works which will be compatible with the Palm OS. I guess, Tungsten C will have no problem supporting it.

Will Sony release a GSM/GPRS Memory Stick module, integrate it on a new Clie model, or will not respond since they have the P800 already?

Another option is EruWare creating a driver to support the CF version of the GSM/GPRS module (which is also on the works). ;)

Do you think that the T|C will be able to be used as a cell phone with a headset??

Official response Sony (as in case with CF Driver): No Comments!

I think it will be able to. The audio port seems customized -- mono output but using a special plug. A discussion in Brightand says that it is being prepared for Voice over IP (VoIP). In that case, it will support an earphone integrated with a mic.
