There was a thread opened on this awhile back, you could look.

My favorite is HrCaptDA. Captures everything on the screen.

Two others are ScreenDumpDA (http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&prodID=124548) and HRCaptDA. Both require DA launchers. There are decent directions for using HRCaptDA in the 1src Freeware forum. Here is the link (http://www.1src.com/freeware/fileinfo.php?id=1595). I posted my take on how to use it in this forum, here (http://www.1src.com/forums/showpost.php?p=956545&postcount=7).

ScreenDumpDA does not capture the status bar. The most recent version of HRCaptDA does.

Edit: ILMM posted while I was looking up the URL for the HRCaptDA directions.

Edit 2: A third free application that captures the entire screen is ZGrab (http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&prodID=53228). It works well, but it saves the image in a file format that will require conversion on your desktop.

If I remember right Jolly Roger 2 was free, you just had to ask for it.

I did ask for Jolly Roger, and I received it. But it does absolutely nothing on my TX. I learned about HRCaptDA while I was trying to understand what the deal was with Jolly Roger. In fact, my post that I referenced above was in a thread I started on to find out whether others had the same experience with JR that I had. I recall that someone else reported there that JR worked on their T5 but not on their TX. And I also read a report somewhere that said it didn't record colors faithfully.

But you are right that Jolly Roger is another freeware alternative, if you have the right hardware.

Guys thanks for all your help and suggestion. Does anyone here able to try the App called screenshot from linkesoft.com. It allows you to have full control of the screenshot that you are taking and allows you to review and to remove the screenshot that you had taken. Also the export features is a great tool when you are finalizing the screenshots that had been taken from the handheld screen. The problem with this program is that it is not free. You can use it in trial mode with the reminder appearing on every screenshot. Is there any free screenshot taking app out there that can do the same thing as this app can do.

Thanks a lot
