1% reports to have obtained preliminary details about the next generation PSP gaming console.

If the information is correct, the upcoming device (codename “Cobalt”) will have a 200% brighter screen, dual analog controllers, and 8 GB of inbuilt flash. It is also rumored to be equipped with Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g) short-range wireless networking, and a LED battery indicator.

The Cobalt is also likely to have a new, all-metal-and-rubber, axe-like design (12 mm thick on the top and 6 mm thick on the bottom).

As usually, take this with a large grain of salt, guys."

Hmm strange code name. Probably a keyboard will be an added option. Maybe they will get rid of their movie disk format?

That is definately not a Sony design, and it doesn't even look like a good photoshop job to tell the truth... I wouldn't put too much faith in the above rumor (although a few of the options listed, like dual analogs, will probably prove to be prophetic).
