Hi all,

I tried to install an app to CF card thru hotsync and I always got the following error (Yes, I selected CFcard-2 as destination and I have named my card volume name as 'CF64' and the CF card was mounted just fine and I was able to browse it using ZLauncher):

HotSync operation started 04/25/03 15:01:03
OK Install
Error: The CompactFlash Card-2 does not have any volumes on it. Cannot install files. Please ensure that a storage card is present.
OK Install To Card with 1 message(s)
Protocol Error: File already exists. (400B)
HotSync operation complete 04/25/03 15:01:05

Thank you for any help!

What does the clie's card info app say?

It does not sound like your card has truly mounted.

Hi Larry,

I saw my CF card in ZLauncher and Card Info. Card Info said:
-----------------------------
28.6 MB Used
220.1 MB Free of 248.7 MB

CF+ Storage Card
Device Id:
---------------------------
THe pull down of Card Info shown 3 card icons:
MS
<blank>
CF

I was able to copy files from MS to CF just fine (from within ZL).

Hmm, I come up with a mental blank. Everything tells me that all should work fine for you. I don't understand why this is happening to you. If you do find a resolve, please pass it on to the rest of us, Thanks!

THanks again, Larry,

After several soft reset, retries etc... and now it works fine and I really have no clue why... :-(

I'm still having the problem of "automount" not working and I have tried everything I could. I can only manually mounted my CF card. It's probably more an inconvenience than problem as I swap my CF with my WiFi when needed and I have to run CFUtil every time I plug in the CF...

Well....
