HELP!!! Can't sync Date Book!

lol, I hope somebody can help me with this. I just entered an entire month of schedule in my Clie today, and by the end of the day I got the "Low Battery" warning. So, I left the unit off on my way home, and stuck it in the cradle when I got home.

About 10 minutes later, I pressed the HotSync button on the cradle, so that I could transfer everything over to my PC and finish some work. When I pressed the button, my Clie freaked out, and I had to soft reset. After that, I kept getting "fatal errors" or whatever they're called, so I hard reset the unit. No more fatal errors, but now I am unable to synchronize my Date Book. I've tried creating new entries, and they will NOT sync - everything else is working fine (address, memo, etc) but the Date Book won't sync at all.

Any suggestions?I'm kind of desperate, as the Date Book is 80% of the reason I got this thing in the first place ... lol.

You can turn syncing on and off for applications by choosing custom when you right click the hotsync manager in the system tray by the clock. Try poking around in there and make sure the datebook is syncing (if datebook shows up, it may not...)

I've had a similar problem. My Clie NZ battery died. I had to restore from memory stick backup. Now when I try to synch via USB (my preferred method), my laptop says something about a new Palm device found. I tried synch with infrared and it looks like it works ok, but actually it is not synch'ing news/changed items from Outlook calendar to my Clie.

same **** happen to my clie!battery went low...i charge it...but when i want to sync...."fatal exeption" pop up....& it hang..had to dard reset.i need help....plzzzzzzzzz
