After installing the WiFi-Updatem on my TX, my nightly scheduled backup sometimes fails and the battery is completly drained.
Any idea how to fix this?

I saw your post the other day and couldn't figure out how this could happen, other than some dialog screen was left up during your scheduled backup.
Last night this happened to me. I woke up this morning to find my battery completely drained. Worse, every time I start the NVB app the screen come up but there are no backup sets listed and the device is frozen - I have to do a pin reset. I tried reinstalling NVB from card and deleting and reinstalling NVB from card, both ways brought me in a complete circle in terms of results. Anybody have any ideas on this one?

Try http://prussfamily.us/NVBackup.prc and activate the Preferences|Advanced option "Disable fewer notifications". It might have fewer hangs.
