As the UMPC (Ultra Mobile Personal Computer) market continues to increase, we see lots of new UMPCs being announced/discussed (see: http://www.oqo.com/) it would be great to have one consolidated place where all the UMPC owners could come to talk with one another.
Most forums I've seen about UMPCs are model specific, for instance www.micropctalk.com is pretty much just about the Sony VEG-UX series. I just wish there was a place where we could all talk about UMPCs in general, and not have tons of model specific sites.
I've always come to 1src.com, for all my PDA needs, and I've been a member even before its name was changed. I absolutely love the site, it has a robust forum system, and plenty of nice helpful community members. So my question is: Is there any chance at expanding this forum to include a UMPC section? I don't have any idea how the site setup works, but I would assume it would be very similar to how most of the PDA sections are set up.
For instance over on the left of the screen where you can navigate through the forums, you would simple have a section titles UMPC's, then list all the different companies as individual forums, and also have one General UMPC forum for people to post in. Like I said, I have no idea how this site is run, and I'm by no means trying to give any order, this is simply how I invision a consolidated UMPC forum : )
