Hy!
I just ordered the Treo 700 housing at brando.
I want to give my 650 the look of the 700.
But I need the dark grey antenna and the hardware keypad. (not the keys itself, i mean the PCB)
Does somebody has some or know where I can purchase it ?

The Gadgetsplus antenna works great with my 700P and I haven't noticed any signal strength degradation or dropped calls whatsoever although some people purport this to be the case with them.

thanks for answer! I hope they will ship to Germany.
Smeggie: These Miniantennas are looking good, but I really like the Treo antenna.
(Have you ever seen a a treo without it before? (and now dont say 680 or 750v ;) )
Umm...
the 700 antenna seems to have the same shape as the 650 one. am I right? So its just the colour.

Uh, you're trying to put your 650 into a 700 housing? Won't work, I tried already.

where are the problems? Everything looked ok for me. the internal photos at FCC, the photos at the brando shop..

Microphone is in a different place, so the housing has different spacings for it, vibrator is in a different place, top of the motherboard is shaped different (different IR ports), so it won't fit in and won't align, also the 700's keyboard doesn't work with the 650's motherboard.

I thought these small differences are unneccesary. I thought to solder some small wires to the vibrator or something like this. I will pray ;)
It is on its way so I cannot go back.

Good luck. Not sure how you're going to get around the keyboard problem though.

do not need this parts anymore. I used the 650 keyboard. the 700 antenna was included

Awesome! Fascinating how you solved the keyboard problem. I tried this a while back, but never went so far as to solder stuff and make plastic things for the keyboard. :p
Good work!
