I mentioned www.clieplaza.com before on another thread (the .co.uk site is not really a site, but it refers to the .com version).
Actually, www.clie-link.com is probably THE european support site from Sony. I usually get there through clieplaza though.

Heh.
Too bad how many people don't fill in their location though. The european NX really needs different patches from the US version. We (us europeans) for instance don't need the system patch to get MS pro to function. Just the latest MS Pro patch to get it to play MP3.

PatrikL, I think you mean me. The link I posted goes to the european MSPro update:
PEG-NX70V (UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, The Netherlands and via the Internet)
cheers

No I wasn't talking about you. I often see people (without a location in their profile) asking for updates and they get referred to the US support site. I sometimes wonder if they need to go there or not. But then if they don't state where they are from I don't know to warn them and since this is mostly a US site people from abroad should be aware they need a different patch (the US support site always warns about this too)

Francis, isn't that a problem with MS Pro not being MagicGate compatible?

I don't think the MSPro stick will work at all with Sonic Stage. Am I right? Dene

MP3 does work with MS Pro. You just cant use the ATRAC stuff with it.

I never used sonic stage, but as far as I know it just does ATRAC compression. So no then it won't work with MS Pro. I put MP3's on the stick with MS Import.

Thanks I will now make the move to find out how to record MP3's on no my PC. So, I am not the last person on the planet that still has not done so. I had been using magic gate and atrac's, completely unaware that I didn't need to but the overpriced magic gate stick ot get music on my NX. You have been helpful Thank you, Francis

wow now I understand why members get so annoyed with lazy questions. I jsut exported MP3 using windows media player and it was so easy I am embarrased to say I never knew It is chaeper and I did it in about 1/8 of thge time it took on sonic stage. All I had to do was read a little. Thank you Fran
