I will be out looking for a screen protector today and i'm darn sure nobody will have a screen protector for an NX70V
But, maybe there is an iPAQ or some other well known PDA with the same size screen???

Why won't people have protectors for the NX70V??? They're out there in plenty of supply! Remember, the NR70 is the same size. WriteRight has'em, but I switched to the Brando protector, like it a lot but a pain to get on nicely, just like any other protector.

As well as CompUSA and Circuit City. The PDA(s) with the closest size match would be the Ipaq line (36xx series and above). The Ipaq screen is 3.8" diagonally, but I'm not sure if the length/width is exactly the same as the Clie. If you can't find them locally, I suggest trying to find an online source. Hope this helps.

don't you think that clié is also a well-known pda?
as stated above: there are screen protectors for the nr/nx available. sony is offering one with the name PEGA-SP70 (get it at sonystyle.com). boxwave is offering one called "cleartouch". those two are quite stable ones. you get one in a pack. they are re-usable and washable. or buy fellows "write right". packs include 12 which are not as durable but that supply should last a year depending on usage.

I've seen NX screen proctectors at both Radio Shack & Circuit City. Have you tried those places?

Even if you can find a screen protector for nx70v, a screen size comparison between Pda's brands & models is a useful information to know!!

AFAIK the Toshiba has a screen that is physically the same size as the Clie but is only 320x240 in resolution (as in each pixel is larger). Not sure about the iPaqs ...

Unfortunately, I'm in the UK where we are very much behind the US when it comes to HiTech and store which stock everything
But maybe I'm being a little pssimistic. I'll try my local Staples/PC-World - i may be lucky...

Hehe ... well I'm in Australia where things are even worse (we got the NX a good 1-2 months after the UK did) and we can get the NR protectors virtually anywhere (well OK not quite but any place that sells reasonably high end PDAs seems to have them) ... I'm surprised the place you got your NX from didn't have any ...

You might try ordering from Brando. I like the protectors and got them in the US with no trouble and it took less than a week. By all accounts they're a good company to deal with.

Oops, here's the URL:
http://shop.brando.com.hk/
I second Velodya's opinion. I have been using the BRANDO type and it is by far the best protector I have used. They also ship internationaly at fair rates, and fast shipment.
