Welcome to 1src!
Contact the company you bought it from, or, the store might have an extended warranty available for purchase.

The sad truth about some cameras: that if you spent less than $150, to repair a camera it might be cheaper to just buy another camera. If you want better pictures 6.0 megapixels is relatively around the best that you can get, higher resolutions vary with different settings and techniques.

More important is name brands for accessories and parts, also services vary for locality. Where is ampang? Malaysia?

In some ways it is good I got a sony Cybershot. I can use the camera as a memorstick cardreader and it is a good supplement to my Clie tj-37. The advanced ones can use the magic gate memory sticks.

If you have any more questions toss them out but be more specific for more specific answers.

Oh, welcome to 1src, where there is more here than just pda talk!

Usually you can register any product online.. about extended warranty, you have to buy it at same time that you buy the product. sometimes you have 46 hrs to purchase warranty after that is not possible...

Extended warranty in my experience is not worth it. Electronic gadgets are getting cheaper by minute and 1 year company warranty is good enough.. insurance companies never pay you back... so better dont waste your money and save it for updating with a newer model...
