A special best wishes for my fellow "Nutcases" who have somewhere between two to DanT's thirty or so TH55s! May your Christmas be about something other than TH55s however . . . like Jesus the Christ!
God bless you all whether you know or acknowledge Him or not! If not, my prayer is that you will some day.
"But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul." Deuteronomy 4:29
Warm blessings to you all and your families from me and my family. :)

Yes, Merry Christmas to all! Jesus is the reason for the season, as they say. Without Jesus having died for all our sins, we would have no hope or reason for living. . .not even hope for becoming a Nutcase!!
DG--I've seen many comparisons of the NX, NZ, and TH screens and I have owned all of them myself. The NZ was IMO the brightest screen, although the color saturation was not nearly as good as the TH. The NX screen is also brighter than the TH, but again, colors were not as crisp or as lifelike. The TH screen is by far the best combination of brightness and color I've seen.

You've owned the TG and TH, do you think the TH screen is better? (in quality, not size)

Currently I'm officially up to 6 TG50's. . .got plans for my daughters' next handhelds!
Picture 1 shows TH55 (left) and TG50 (right) at minimum screen brightness. I like that the TH can be dimmer without a hack to do it. . .can be very useful.
Picture 2 shows TH55 and TG50 at maximum screen brightness. Screens are just about the same brightness.
Picture 3 shows a closeup of Monolopy on both devices. It's hard to show in the picture, but the TH screen just has more color depth (if that's the correct term for it.) The TH shows more contrast between the color of the middle of the board compared to the background color on the properties than the TG. I will say that the TG screen has better color quality than the NX and NZ handhelds. There is a more obvious difference when looking at them side by side, even in a picture like this.
Picture 4 shows a closeup of Bejeweled2 on both devices. Again, hard to show in the picture, but there is a slight difference here. The blues look more blue vs aqua. The whites aren't as washed out. The black is darker.
If you're judging solely on the screen quality, the comparison between TH and TG is almost splitting hairs versus TH and NX, NZ. But when you throw in almost 3x the user accessible RAM, camera, larger screen, better battery life (although TG is pretty good, too) and wifi the TH wins hands down IMHO.

Great discussion for a "Bright Screen vs. Rich Color" thread . . . meanwhile, Merry Christmas! :p

Hrmhmmm! :rolleyes:Really? How about PSP screen. It may have poorer resolution but it supports 24bits colors which makes it as super screen! Though from pdas th55 screen is very high quality.

QaQ qoS (Klingon)
Sorry, had to do it.
And no, I didn't know it off the top of my head. I had to search quite a bit to find something close. I don't think there is a Klingon word for "Merry"
Cheers,
jc
