Problems with Voice Recorder

Hi, Is anyone else having a problem using the voice recorder when a CF card is mounted?

If I go into Voice Recorder without a CF card mounted, the MS shows as having 21 mins of remaining time.

I mount a CF Card and return to Voice Recorder.

The remaining time is now showing --- : -- and flashing red.

Could someone else check out if they have the same problem?

Or am I the one one using Voice Recorder :confused:

When I have MS Masquerading turned on, my VoiceRec shows 00:28, to start with, but once it gets to zero, the number bounces up to 1 minute. I think it is having trouble calculating the amount of time remaining since there is so much room on the CF. MovieRec shows that I've got 9 hours of recording time, in best mode.

The voice recordcer works normally in MS masquerading mode. i can save at the CF card.

I got no problem too with voice recorder... (in MS Masquering mode) with the NX..

This sucks because some apps need to know there are 2 options, the MS and CF and this voice recorder can only be offered one. Back and forth, back and forth. This is a pain in the @ss and hopefully will be addressed.

It's NOT the driver, but the app has to be Multi-VFS aware.

Thanks, that explains it. While I admit it is a pain having to remember to switch the CF Card on and off.

I guess we can only blame one person, Sony.....
