When I launch Sonic Stage I keep having a database corrupt file problem. I'm getting a pop-up that asks either to fix the problem or exit. When I click on fix it, another pop-up comes up and says it can't be fixed and then the whole application goes away. I'm using Win2000 and can use every thing else on my clie including dumping .mp3 files on to the MS. I haven't been able to figure out how to have Audio player read and play the .mp3 file.
I need help making this feature work.

Are you trying to put only MP3's on the Clie into the /Palm/Programs/MSAudio folder?
If so, then get Music Match or some other freeware MP3 application. Sonic Stage will play mp3's, but is only meant to add Sony's proprietary ATRAC3 music format, which also requires the white Magic Gate memory stick.
I move my mp3's via MS Import on the clie in concert with my PC's desktop file manager.
Don't use VBR or MP3 Pro formats, they don't work on the clie.
For MP3's, don't use Sonic Stage! ! !
Hopefully this helps some

I disagree here, I don't think it's due to that fact that you can't use sonic stage with mp3's. I was running windows xp, and all my songs I ever wrote on my discs were mp3s. I think the problem is due to windows 2000. I recently installed windows 2000 and got the exact same error as you, I have no idea what the hell it's going on about. Sonic stage is apparently incompatible with all windows 2000 versions except windows 2000 Professional which I have. The book here I have states that to install sonic stage, you should log on with the name "Administrator" I've done this, installed logged on as Administrator and I still get the same error. Try this , It might work for you. I still haven't found a solution.
Anyway, I'm not using a clie, I'm using a minidisc NetmD MZ-NF610, I just thought I might find some help here.
