Hello everyone,
I just purchased a cheap Japanese NZ90 and I am looking for a copy of the base apps (datebook, addressbook, prefs, etc) from an English NZ90.
Can anyone send me these files? Your help will be greatly appreciated!

Can anyone help me, please? Even for just the Prefs app?

Mmm...what you are going to do is low a LOT of memory doing this! Why you don't just install another app (such Agendus, for ex) in english?

Actually I just settled for Agendus for my datebook/addressbook. Right now all I really need are the Prefs in english.
Would you happen to have a copy of these files? Thank in advance!

One solution would be for someone with a working version to bean the preference version. The main problem would be if a Prefs in english from a NZ device or maybe other sony device prefs would work. Try going to the sonyclie.org and going into the search mode for Japanese to english conversion.
Also on other devices some of the members here have some experience with the conversion. Unfortunately the drastic method is to learn Japanese! I think the google site offers some translations(at the sonyclie.org I saw some examples) or get an english device.
Sorry not many folks wanted to help you, but didn't you know that you were in for a lot of trouble if you tried to save money by getting a Japanese version?

I loaded FileZ onto my nz90 and took a look at any apps titled, 'Prefs' and found 2. One of them was locked (copy protected) so I unchecked the box and saved it so I could transfer them both to MS.
I now have the 2 apps on a MS. How do I get them to you? Don't know if they will work, if there is anything else to getting these apps off the nz intact, someone please let me know. . .

I actually tried CliePet's VZ prefs but they don't seem to do anything. Maybe because it's an OS5.2 device.
