I have just gotten my TH55 back - The screen is repaired, the battery is nice and healthy and even the buttons feel nicer! :D

Major kudos to you Dan for fixing it up so well (I espescially like the little details, like how you trimmed that extraneous bit of tape that I'd left on the back :D)! Now I just gotta re-sync all the data from my T-665 back onto it and I'll be back in Th55 Zone :D

I can feel your excitement, it's the same way I felt when I got my beloved th55/e back from Sony for replacing my cracked LCD. . .but I probably paid more than DanT charged. :o

Glad to hear that it arrived there safely.

I didn't do anything with the buttons other than blew off the piles of dust built up underneath the button, on the motherboard, and connectors. ;)
