saw this tip on geek.com:

"The Sony WiFi card is just a Sony branded Intel Pro 2011b CF card so you can go to the Intel site, download the drivers, install, configure and go. I was reluctant to buy the expensive WiFi card so I bought it from Sony with the 30 day return period and figured out how to use it on my Pocket PCs. It has a nice range in my house and I am very pleased with its performance."

It doesn't help people who want to use the Sony with a different card, but if you want to use your Sony card in a pocket pc, there you go.

OK, stupid question: can you use an Intel Pro CF card in an NX then?

No, additionlly the Intel card from what I understand is about in the same price range. I am sure the Intel card would work with a different CF driver, if one was available.

Yes it will work with some PPC's and also Windows laptops with a PCMCIA adapter.
