Hi,

I use MediaMonkey for my mp3 playing organizing (it is a super application try it -> http://www.mediamonkey.com).

This app, synchronizes with my Palm TX when I start Drive Mode at folder /Audio/ the pre-selected playlists, along with my playlists

However Pocket Tunes does not read those playlists giving this error message:

"Unable to play audio file. To select new music select the open menu [...] The file was not found at the specified location"

When I view the playlist file through Resco Explorer I get these results:

\Audio\<album name>\<song name>.mp3
for all the music files. This is the exact location of the songs...

Any ideas why Ptunes cannot read my playlists?

Although this is an extremely old topic, I only just found it, while looking for a solution myself.

I have noticed that the playlists generated by PocketTunes itself are in the form:
/TOPFOLDER/ARTIST/ALBUM/TITLE.MP3

while MediaMonkey created them like this:
\TOPFOLDER\ARTIST\ALBUM\TITLE.mp3

The folder slashes are reversed and the MP3 extension is in the wrong case.
All you have to do is edit the MM playlist and change the slashes to /

You could probably automate this in MM with a script.

It looks like MediaMonkey does not follow standard Windows folder notation? That has got to be a bug. As for case sensitive MP3 extension, I don't believe that would make any difference..
