How is it?
Anyway to store it on the memory stick?
I have tried some other solutions, but found none of them were as good or as fast as advantgo.

I tried it and dumped it: it's a dog!
Despite it once being my favourite app, it's a nightmare on the NX70V: lo-res, clunky and buggy. No fun.
I'm using iSilo for now instead.

Ditto what urban75 said. I used to love AG but now I really love how iSilo looks and will be soon registering it unless AG comes out with a hr+ version in the 14 days or so. ;)
If you want to try out iSilo check out http://www.turcic.com it is great link for iSilo and getting the same channels I once had with AvantGo.

oh didnt realize it was low res, just assumed it was high
problem i found with isilo was trying to figure out how to convert pages to it and make it look good on nx70

Tried it too with same feelings as other posts. Having Nefront on NX screen makes Avantgo look lame too. When we get hi res+ version, I'll be tempted again.

Avantgo is what made me get a palm a few years back. I use the beta, but I hope they come out with a better version soon for us.

I see that they are limiting the download size and selling a larger download capacity membership. Are you amember?

I like it, seems very slow to load if you run it from the MS, but once it's loaded it runs fast enough. For 2MB free it's all I need.
I also posted on here last week requesting help in deleting Avantgo files when it's stored/synched to the MS instead of main memory. I didn't copy the response and now the post is gone, anyone know what which of the AG files you can safely delete from main memory? Or whoever posted the response, thanks, could you post it again.:D

My experience with the beta has been mostly positive. There are several known issues with MS media so I keep it all in RAM for the time being which is a pain. I want the HIRES and I would love to see them get rid of the 2MB limit.
Cheers,
Bob
:D
I am running the bETA version too with the same feeling about HiRes+ required.
BUT I have a question, when it installed it onto the Clie it created a Launcher Group called "Unfiled". I moved the apps to my documents Launcher Group but now I can't delete the (now emtpy) Unfiled group? Any ideas?

i think you guys are missing another important point. AvantGo doesn't supoort full screen yet! And i can't handle reading an article on only half the screen!
iSilo ROCKS!
Enjoy.

Big question re: ISILO: With Avantgo, I was able to create custom channels based on webpages that I go to (for instance, I have a link that gives me the updated movie listings for Windsor, Ontario). Can Isilo do this also? That is, can I create a custom web page channel that will update automatically every time I hotsync?
Thanks,
Jeremy

I have converted and paid for Isilo, and I agree it takes a bit work to get everything up, but is much better.
Just takes so long to download everything turcic has, you have to really customize it and only have maybe 10-20 channels unless you do it overnight.

I have no problem with the BETA at all. It seems just as functional as my M505 was and of course they will have hi-res eventually! Don't forget the jump to OS 5 complicates things for developers. I am willing to be patient for a good product to be finished! :)
