I have been using my NX-70 quite a lot for messaging using Verichat; I either connect using the IR connection to my cell phone or the 56k modem. The keyboard is great for that, but now noticed that the keys are getting dirty.

I tried to clean them, but it seems the dirt showwed up underneath the clear keys. Any ideas on how to clean those? Or am I pressing too hard, which could cause those marks?

At least I have the Gunmetal one, so it hides the dirt a little.

Nelson.

If that's the case, then the keyboard might be worn out? From what I can see, the keypad is just a stick-on type. Right, either it made it's own marks or the plastic keys have cracked necessitating replacement. I don't know if calling Sony support would help, you can always ask them.

I was taking a closer look and it may be the case that the keys are wearing out. Problem is I am in Brazil, hard for me to ship the unit to the U.S..

I will use the graffiti more for messaging from now on, since I have a screen protector.
