Palm TX

The touchscreen is off calibration and re-calibrating it in preferences does no good. Things near the top half or of the screen are right on; but, the closer I get to the bottom of the screen, the further off it is.

It has now reached the point that I must touch below very-bottom options to activate them. Touching right on them yields no response. This is the case in all applications.

I'm afraid that soon, the items at the bottom will be totally inaccessible.

You have two alternative to the built in calibrator... 1) There is a full screen callibrator included with the apps mySkin & myKbd or 2) There is Power Digi.

People have said that Power Digi works when nothing else will. I use the calibrator in myKbd now but have a copy of Power Digi just incase my digitizer goes wacko someday.

Alex,

I had the exact same problem you have now. My TX is now in perfect health because of PowerDigi (www.palmpowerups.com). I also have mykbd, but the digitizer in that didn't work for me. Alex Pruss said that I had a non-linear calibration problem and would probably have to send it back to palm. I made all the arrangements to do so, but at the same time Dmitry was beta testing his PowerDigi app. It worked so well on my TX that I waited until the last minute beefore sending my palm back to palm. Dmitry came through with his final version just 5 days before my return authorization code would have expired.

Needless to say I never sent the unit back to palm, and have been extremely happy with it ever since.
