NX70V and WL100

just bought the WL100 and set it up w/ the NX70V, configured everything and it said "connected" in the "Prefs" --> "Network". however, i cannot browse the web (using avantgo), cannot send/receive -mail (use Clie mail) and even cannot perform other online tasks. i use "auto" for both IP and DNS, for avatgo, it sad DNS error; in Clie mail, it said SMTP server error.... may anyone elp me out?? thanks a lot!

It worked fine for me w/ my NX60 - Plug and Play!

You should check your settings on your router maybe its not accepting your MAC address

I use the card myself. It works just great with NetFront, but I haven't been able to browse with AvantGo at all. YMMV.

that is weird... on my NZ it works fine with both NetFront and AvantGo browser... maybe your server setups under prefs is not correctly set up:

server address: sync.avantgo.com
port: 80
user name: your avantgo user name
password: your pw

my version is: 5.2 build 65

try to explain it as simple as possible:

AvantGo is a news channel collection application. You can either syncronize (update) through your PC/MAC or wirelessly. You have the possibility to subscribe to different channels from daily news, sports, computer related stuff, travel etc. Set up an account (up 2mb is free of charge) at http://www.avantgo.com
Once you have dl the selected channels you can read them offline.
There is a browser included in the app which allows you to surf wirelessly!

Ambicom is supposed to work with this driver: http://clienx_cf_modem.tripod.com/

Did you look on your hard drive, NetFront maybe already stored there under the Sony Handheld addon folder!
