I'm decided to collect all the devices bugs and their medicine for the bug. I admit that this could be odd thread but it better to collect all to one thread/post in simple clear form. Also it is good that if someone visit here in 1src can just click this thread and find easily cure for some bug. This thread will be also a very good for guest who are looking for the most stables palm os devices. Just because there are just too many threads in here 1src about the bugs and app failures specially in the new palm's devices.

Let me note that I don't collect bugs which are caused by 3th party app! There are just too many bugs out of there if we add those to this list too. Though a very rare app will cause the full hard reset. Anyway please post only very sure information. Please notice also that if I left a some of areas empty it doesn't mean that there isn't cure for that bug it just means that I have no information about it. If you have just post it and I will add it.

Palm Lifedrive
Bug: Computer doesn't recognize the handheld.
Medicine:
Bug: Build-in pocket tunes does lag when playing music and does stop little while when exiting from apps.
Medicine: Download Sharkcache called app. It should fix it but it might bring other small problems.

Medicine: Download app called SharkCache.

Palm Treo 680
Bug: Battery meter acts very strangely and jumps to lower prosent even there would be energy left.
Medicine: As treo 680 is so new, there isn't solution for this problem but doing cable reset or staying away from treo camera software might help.

Medicine:

Palm TX
Bug: Random soft resets.
Medicine: Do hard reset and install apps all one by one to track bug app.
Bug: If you go to the internet using bluetooth throught Siemens s55 using gprs and connection drops out after few minutes.
Medicine:
Bug: If you have exact memory card and you try hotsync it will not recognize the card.
Medicine:
Bug: If you try to tap any hyperlink in the Versamail 3.5 it will not launch the Blazer as it should.
Medicine: There isn't solution for this. Except you can set the WebPro 3.5 for launching hyperlinks.
Bug: If you have installed new palm's update and you try to hotsync but you can't because TX freezes during it.
Medicine: Remove Palm's new patch that should fix it.
Bug:
Medicine:

Medicine:

Palm zire 72
Bug: Handheld does make odd noise (this is on some other devices too)

Bug:
Medicine:

Sony clie ux50
Bug: You cant' connect using ux50's wlan but bluetooth works.
Medicine: Search thread "UX can't connect to wifi" and follow the thread instuctions, it should help.
Bug: Few black lines appears on the ux-50's screen.
Medicine: Charge your pda over 6 hours and it should heal it.
Bug:
Medicine:

Sony clie th55
Bug: If you did set up the automatic lock to example 15min and go to picsel viewer and let it be alone for 16min and then put the power on it doesn't respond and you need to do the soft reset.
Medicine: Put the automatic lock off or exit from the picsel viewer before it locks inself.
Bug: You get random resets while browsing using Netfront.
Medicine: Destroy all the netfront's small databases files like history, cache, cookies etc.
Bug: Picsel viewer is acting very slow.
Medicine: Download app called PicselAccelerator or do the hardreset and install app in that way that you have more than 25mb of memory avaivable. I have noticed that ram memory is reason for picsel viewer slow act.
Bug: If you use the smallest fonts on the Clie organizer app and when alarm pop-ups th55 does freeze.
Medicine: Download latest Clie organizer updates from Sony site.
Bug: Sometimes when you exit from Picsel viewer it will crash.
Medicine: Make hard reset and restorie all files using backup app.
Bug: Graffiti shortcuts db grows in every soft reset.
Medicine: There isn't another way than just delete the db always when it is too big. Though it takes a while that it will grow so massive that it will be a problem.
Bug: Th55 tends to read sometimes the memory card even device is off and this will cause loosing energy even you wouldn't do anything.
Medicine: There isn't permanet solution for this problmen but soft reset will cure this so long as you notice again th55's odd card reading.

LCD whine applies to all PDAs. Not just the Zire 72.Well not actually in All pdas. Even though you could ment "in all palm pdas" but it isn't still correct. There isn't example any hiss or wiss in my th55 or tungsten or zire 71. But I know that example tx has same kind of problem as zire 72.

It all depends. Sometimes it will be in some PDAs and not in others of the same models. Not everyone can hear it either. I cannot hear it at all. My Mom only hears it a bit when it's close to her ear. My brother hears is quite well at a foot distance.

Anyway, there are also multiple screen suppliers for the same models. Sony, Sharp, and one other I couldn't identify.

@ pdaman,

a great idea but your lifedrive section isnt really right! The latest v of PT doesnt stop that problem, and by and large, sharkcache causes as many problems as it solves... :)

um, ohkay. Thanks for freedback SoS. I will update it. Btw, does anyone have any ideas for the UI? I wouldn't really want to use any colors than just black and white. Even though I thinked first that bugs would red and medicine part blue or green. Anyway if someone has something what to add to list please post and atleast link to "bug thread" and I will go through it. But for now I don't have really a big inspiration work on this thread but I will finish this.

Well for the z72 it does whine quite a bit (well i hear it too well) and another that isnt too much of a bug but more of a design/user fault ISH is that of the screen recognition seems to not last for long. The solution is that getting a piece of paper and with teh corners move it along between the gap of the screen and case to get out dust and dirt etc as of what I have heard it seems to occur a fair amount with the z72.
