Silly Skin Questions ( Take 2)

hi all,

am very new to this "Skins" thingibob and would like to find out more about it.

Could someone plz provide an URL on where i could get more information about it. (real basic stuff kinda like Skins for Dummies etc) :D

Also on the different types of applications...anything!!

for Virtual Greffite and status bar, there is a program called NXSkinGen somewhere, just do a search for it, you should be able to find it in no time.

if you use YiShow, you can download one of the skin from them, use a program called prcedit, which works on your PC, and edit the file you want to.

however, I don't know other launchers, maybe someone else can help.

I recommend wondersilk skins. NXskingen app is handy to create and replace the standard onboard VG or SB skin, but is not very user friendly. Wondersilk skins are made with wondermaker application (on PC) and managed on the NX with app called Kinamaru. You create a "wsb" file on the PC, copy to memory stick and import through Kinamaru. It is not very complicated and is worth figuring out. There is a large list of postings about wondersilk as many members were figuring it out and using it while it was still only available in Japanese. Do a search for it and you'll see.
