Great news! Hope it beats MaxT3 ;)
If it does, I'm a buyer ;)

excellent application, i was looking for this since long.
the bad thing is that i already found another way around to fit my requirements :(
i remember the last thing i asked for was a DA that opens and closes the DIA... it seems you have taken that1 :)

This looks like it could be really useful. I have found a problem though.
e.g. If I set Media on the TX to open in landscape mode, when I open up an image it reverts to portrait. If I choose slideshow, it works fine.
Also, if I call up Road Lingua from within PalmBible+, again it reverts to portrait mode, even if Road Lingua itself is set to Landscape mode.
If that could be fixed, I would fork out the whole £2.74 Palmgear is asking

This app is great!! You've done it again, Henk! :-D I do just have one question or perhaps it is a request... Is there a way to disable the 5-way control for a specific application? The 5-way control for the DIA and rotation on the fly is AWESOME, however, I need to disable it for a game that also uses the 5-way to navigate (The Quest - also awesome). If it is not disabled, The Quest crashes when hold down the 5-way (ie: to walk forward for a longer distance during gameplay).
If there is already a way to disable the 5-way DIA/Rotate control on a per app basis, then please advise as to how to do this. If not, please consider adding this ability.
Thanks!! :D

As what PinCushionQueen said - I'd love to disable the 5 way DIA rotate control. It can get annoying when you use the 5 way buttons within application and it gets over-ridden with DisplayManager

Right, per App setting of 5way handling sounds cool. I will add it. At the moment you can only disable/enable it globally.

Well, it didn't work for Netfront and Inspiration on my T3. So it seems I'm staying with MaxT3. :-(

tosbsas:
:-) you can search my posts, there should be some screenshots of Netfront in full hires+, both in landscape and portrait.
Can hide dia and rotate with dpad, with some little annoyances.

Ok, I've release 1.2 which allows to set the handling of the 5-way on a per-App base. For the next update I will see if I also can set the InputArea mode (graffiti, Text, Numbers) on a per-App base.
When you install the update, it will either stay registered, if you registered the old version or you will get another 7 day test.
@tosbsas: Well, it works fine on my TX: DisplayManager can control the DIA and the rotation for NetFront. Unfortunately, on my T3, NetFront and Picsel just reset when I try to launch them. Don't know why.
Enjoy,
Henk

Well, I don't know. It uses the PalmSource-standard for the DIA managment, which wasn't used by Sony. So, I wouldn't expect it to work. But you might try it.

It might work on the Sony devices with "Landscape" installed:

It's just guessing on my part, though. The combination could cause your device to ignite and propel itself into orbit (although that particular scenario seems unlikely).
