I suppose it wouldn't have made too much sense for palmOne to have put a vibrate alert feature in the LifeDrive as it used a hard drive...initially at least. Since enough people have been converting their units into LifeFlashes (LifeCompactFlashes?), is it possible to add a vibrator back in? It was done with a TX by your friend and mine, Dmitry, so theoretically it must be possible? I've got some Treo 650 and m515 vibration units that need a new home. :)
What do you peeps think?

Sounds interesting... but I don't recall any time that I really needed a vibrate function back in the T3 days... Like when in a movie house, I know my time is essentially free, and I'm not expecting any alarms to go off...
Now if this had a phone function, that'd be great.
Just my 2 cents.
Ciao! ;)

very doable. not particularly hard. you need a driver and hardware connected in the right place. so just find what gpio the tx pin in the athena connector goes to, and try to catch men whan i have a free minute, give me that info and i'll make a mod of the tx driver fot you.

I'd offer but I've already wasted enough of my life changing Palm's bad decisions. (no pun intended)

Yeah, I'll do some poking around and hopefully we can get this working. Thanks Dmitry for offering your help!
