Has anyone had any experience with the 2200mAh LifeDrive batteries on eBay? Thinking of getting one for myself, because the battery life isn't too jolly for me (just bearable). Thanks!

EDIT: I suppose I should post the link to the auction (http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150057117520&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=005) as well! Oops!

I run Bluetooth GPS all day and Wi-Fi/misc programs on and off and I have trouble killing a battery in a day.

I have the Mugen 2200mah from Lion and the CF upgrade with an Ultra II.

It outlasts the TX easy!

Haven't tried the ebay one.

It's an easy swap (10-15 minutes) if you've had the back off before - just be careful pulling the back off and pulling the plug out (it doesn't like to pull out easily)

Let us know how it goes - if you get it.

I replaced mine with the proporta's 2200 mAh. It gave me a little more than 2 hours of non-stop Web browsing via Wifi. I was on Max brightness, Bluetooth on (not link to anything). I did have my CF mod (Sandisk UltraII).

Now, 6 months later, the 2200 mAh can't hold up much charge anymore. I can only get 30 min while using WiFi. I'm just going to get a 1900 mAh from ebay.

Any 2200 mAh user care to share their expirence?

i sent mine back to proporta....some fault or somesuch.....the batteries need good conditioning...give them a good full charge...12+hours before tryin to use it then dont let it drop below 40% before recharginng

Man... I'd love one of these for my TH55; I wouldn't need to charge it for a month! :D

If only the TH55 battery bay was bigger :(

(Or I was as brave and beauty-blind as Junglemike :D)

Well, after about a year (using every day for a couple hours) the battery is down to about 2-3 hours at best.

I'm sure I need to replace it and I'd be willing to bet we trade off some endurance (not lasting too long) in the long term for power on the short term (day to day)

Like a couple others I ordered a battery off ebay to try.

1800 mah

Dear friends,

I just brought a 2200mh lifedrive battery. Would anyone tell me after I install the new battery, would the lifedrive hardreset. If this happen, I have to backup my data on the CF first. Thank you a lot.
