As far as i know, most mpegs need to be transfered to the clie via the image converter software so that the movie is encoded/decoded in a format that the clie can support. How then does one get a movie onto the clie if ms import does not support the cf slot?

Well, you can first copy it to your memory stick and then transfer it to your compact flash card. You can HotSync it, yes I know it's slow. Finally, use an external card reader. BTW, this is NOT a dead issue and is still being looked at.

You can also point the Image Converter to the hard drive and save the files there. It will create the directorys on your hard disk, just like the ones on the Clie. Then just copy the files from X:\MQ_ROOT\100MQV01\ to your CF card using a reader to the same directory and your all set.
