So I've gone throught the motions of getting my th55 back up and running, but I cant get wireless working at all!

Mobile manager complains about an error 519.. Database record missing: C="netw" T="DATA" V="0" Name:"Wireless LAN".

And in Prefs all is not how it should be. I cant remember exactly how it used to be before my troubles but i now have no wireless option in the Network Tab or Connection tab.. cant scan and stuff..

Looks like my OS has regressed? Any one with any bright ideas??

Cheers,
Chris.

hard reset. save to card "netprefs" or something like that. then restore, then move this file back to ram.

Seems like an odd thing to have happened....?

Anyways... as ever, 1src and the gang save the day. I'm all wifi'd up and lovely once again!
Thanks for your help dmitry.

That is very strange, you swould expect something like that to happen to a Palm handheld, not Sony ^.^

Strange that a step IN ADDITION TO a hard reset is needed. I always thought the hard reset made things "factory condition."

If you read closely, it seems as though the Palm was fine after a hard reset. It seems as though the netprefs file wasn't copied during a backup for whatever reason and then upon a restore it wasn't there. It seems as though the user had to restore this file to his/her restored RAM.
