Three PALM directories in Compact Flash!!!!

Yes, you read the subject correctly....

Last night while fiddling around with the CF Driver, changing automount and other options then removing/putting in the CF etc., I wound up with 3, yes THREE, palm directories.  I didn't have time last night to check it out in Winodze.  So today I did.  Windoze also shows three identical directories, all with different mod times!  If I try to cut/paste them to a new subfolder I get the typical "directory already exists" warning a half dozen times!!!

So I switched to another card...fiddled a bit and nothing happened.

Anyone else have anything similar happen?

It's sad that I need to put this in my post....but, please don't reply unless you HAVE had similar problems!

I did have similar problems. Only it wasn't the Palm folder, it was the Launcher folder in the palm folder. I believe it happened because I made one when I formatted the card in my card reader, and then when I mounted it in the Clie it made for itself I guess. I simply reformatted and let the Clie put all the directories it wanted on it then I added my own in Windows and it now works fine.

PowerRun v1.2 had created multiple Palm folders for me. Try using the new beta v1.3.
